This abstract explores how popular culture, including music, movies, TV shows, social media, and internet trends, can impact the teaching and learning of English as a second language (ESL). It discusses the role of pop culture in enhancing language comprehension, fostering cultural awareness, and engaging students in authentic language experiences. Additionally, the abstract highlights the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating pop culture into English language teaching, emphasizing the need for responsible and culturally sensitive pedagogical approaches that harness the power of popular culture to enrich the ESL classroom.
