ANALYSIS OF THE SIGNIFICANCE OF COMMUNITY TO ENHANCING EFL STUDENTS’ SPEAKING SKILL

Abstrak

Community plays a vital role in enhancing the speaking skills of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students. Engaging in a supportive and inclusive community provides EFL learners with a rich language environment and ample opportunities for practice. By interacting with peers and native speakers, students can gain confidence, improve their pronunciation, and expand their vocabulary. Community-based language activities, such as group discussions, debates, and language exchanges, foster real-life communication and promote cultural understanding. Moreover, communities offer a platform for constructive feedback and peer learning, enabling students to identify and address their weaknesses. Through collaborative learning experiences, EFL students can develop effective communication strategies, fluency, and cultural competence, ultimately enhancing their overall speaking proficiency. The significance of community lies in its ability to create a supportive, immersive, and interactive language learning environment that empowers EFL learners on their journey to becoming confident and proficient speakers.
