GRAMSCI HEGEMONY THEORY AS REFLECTED IN THE WARCRAFT MOVIE

This paper emphasizes a critical approach in seeing how the actions of a group or organization that has a strong influence and impact on other cultures on the environment that moves in a place or country that has become part of life commonly referred to as Colonialism and also relates to Gramsci's theory about Hegemony. In this research, the researchers aimed to inform the reader that the theory of Gramsci is that the Hegemony is very strongly related to social life in society, no matter what era it is. This journal article uses qualitative theory as the method of this journal article used to collect data. All findings or data found and written in this journal article are based solely on those in the film "Warcraft". Through the film, critics of the Hegemony theory that occur in the main character and also other characters will be revealed and further analyzed by the journal article writer. The film "Warcraft" by Charles Leavitt and Jones is a thought-provoking film that allows readers or viewers to think critically and emotionally for all the dramatic things that occur throughout the film scene and survive with the characters. This journal article also aims to provide evidence of the Hegemony theory written in the book and influence the character and how the role of the main character and his friends who are in a weak human kingdom.
