AN ANALYSIS OF MARXIST CRITICISM THEORY TOWARDS CINDERELLA CARTOON MOVIE

The film, titled Walt Disney, was made by a folk tale in Europe which at that time was written by Charles Perrault in 1697. In this film tells the story of a girl who was humiliated by his stepmother at that time, so Cinderella wanted to change his destiny to to be better and so that she can change her destiny instead. In this study the resercher uses Marxist theory, in this study also discusses the social status that occurred at that time in which Marx used theory to analyze the elements that occur in this film. Marx's theory can help us to analyze this Cinderella film, the story behind this film has a social and cultural picture at the time, an aristocratic system that led a kingdom or country and how people see a meaning from their lives. It was very interesting to analyze, because this film depicts the socio-culture and views at that time. This film has implications from Marx's ideology on society, how people are grouped or classified, how people struggle hard to change their lives now, and how false or fraudulent awareness works. In this paper the author will analyze these aspects using Marx's ideology.
