Abstrak

One of the most important tools for learning a new language is a dictionary. Students who want to learn a new language can use a wide range of dictionaries. One technology that can be used to learn a foreign language is online dictionaries. Students can access it via the internet in today's digital age. As a result, the purpose of this study is to examine how students' pronunciations at SMPN1 Bandar Lampung were affected by using the online Cambridge Dictionary. As many 28 English speaking students served as the study's participants. Following that, descriptive analysis was used to examine the data. Students were interviewed about alternative references in technology for learning pronunciation, particularly the online Cambridge dictionary, in order to collect data. According to the findings of this study, the Cambridge online dictionary has an impact on the pronunciation mastery and vocabulary expansion of students. An alternative approach to overcoming pronunciation and vocabulary mastery difficulties is offered by the online Cambridge dictionary.
