GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING TEACHERS' ROLE IN COMBATING THE LGBT TREND

This research was conducted to determine the forms of LGBT trend behavior among students at Teknokrat University, the role of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming this LGBT trend behavior. The writer employs descriptive qualitative research methods to address the issues raised above, and the subjects and objects of this study are guidance and counseling teachers and students who are suspected of behaving in an LGBT manner. Interviews, observation, and documentation were used as tools in this study. The study's findings reveal that : Students are more likely to follow transgender behavior or gender identity disorder than lesbian, gay, and bisexual behavior, according to the description of LGBT behavior in students. The role of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming LGBT trend behavior by recognizing students with problems, understanding the types of problems, providing individual and group counseling.
