The Learning Media Chosen by The Teacher in Online Learning Process

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning media used by teachers in the online learning process and to determine the effectiveness of the virtual media platform used by lecturers from students' perceptions, in the teaching and learning process of English education students. This study involved students from the Indonesian Technocrat University in the English language academic writing education study program. The students were surveyed through a questionnaire distributed through Google foom. The questionnaire was conducted to collect related data about the learning media chosen by the teacher in the online learning process. According to their responses, most teachers use learning media such as zoom meetings and google meetings in the online learning process. And according to them, Zoom Cloud Meeting is the most effective medium in the teaching and learning process, where 90.5% of them said so. Followed by google meet, where 9.5% of respondents chose it.
